Jalapeno Poppers

The Jalapeno Poppers are one of the best appetizers you can have. The Jalapeno Poppers recipe is super easy and you can make them at home during gatherings. They can be easily kept in the fridge and eaten when you crave them.

This recipe is made with a combination of three or four popper recipes that makes something that tastes great. You can easily make it taste much better when you adjust the number of bacon bits and the type of shredded cheese. A bit of warning that be sure to wear rubber gloves while seeding the jalapenos peppers– they will burn.

PREPARATION TIME:

This simple recipe will only take about 45 minutes of the preparation time and 15 minutes of cooking times. It takes a total of 1 hour to prepare. It will yield up to 32 servings but you can adjust the quantity of the ingredients as per requirement.

INGREDIENTS:

The ingredients are pretty simple and available at your local grocery stores.

3.Bacon bits1 tablespoon
4.Jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved12 ounces
5.Milk1 cup
6.All-purpose flour1 cup
7.Dry bread crumbs1 cup
8.Oil for frying2 quarts  

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1.

Take a medium bowl, add the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and bacon bits and mix it properly.

Step 2.

Spoon this mixture into the jalapeno pepper halves.

Step 3.

Take two separate small bowls and add the milk and flour separately. Then, dip the stuffed jalapenos first into the milk then into the flour and make sure that they are well coated with each.

Step 4.

Let the jalapenos coated with the milk and mixture to dry for about 10 minutes.

Step 5.

Again, dip the jalapenos into the milk and roll them through the breadcrumbs.

Step 6.

Let the jalapenos to dry, then repeat the process to ensure that the entire surface of the jalapeno is coated properly.

Step 7.

Take a medium skillet and heat the oil to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C). Deep fry the coated jalapenos 2 to 3 minutes each, until they turn golden brown.

Step 8.

Remove them to the paper towel and let the oil drain on a paper towel.

Step 9.

Let them cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving them.
