Ingredients :
- 200g rolled oats
- 30g wheatgerm
- 100g bran or rye flakes
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 30g hazelnuts, chopped
- 30g flaked almonds
- 75g sultanas
- 75g dried apricots, chopped
- 75g dried figs, chopped
Method :
- Heat the oven to 160°C/fan 140°C/gas 3. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Put the oats, wheatgerm and bran or rye flakes in the prepared tray. Toss with the vanilla extract, then toast for 5 min. Remove from the oven, toss well, then toast for 5 min more. Set aside until cooled completely.
- Pour the mixture into a large bowl, then stir in the nuts and dried fruits. Store in an airtight jar for up to one month.
