Brown Sugar Syrup

Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a pot over medium-high heat add the brown sugar, water and cinnamon.
- Stir the mixture until the liquid comes to a rolling boil and all sugar is dissolved.
- Lower the heat to medium and allow the syrup to continue boiling for another 4 minutes.
- Add the butter to the mixture and continue to stir till butter is entirely melted.
- Remove the mixture from the heat. Add vanilla to the pot and stir to combine.
- Let the syrup cool for 5 minutes before serving and enjoy. Store any remaining syrup in fridge.
