2. | Fresh rosemary or any fresh herbs of your choice | 5 sprigs. |
3. | Divided lemons | 2 small lemons plus extra for serving. |

7. | Peeled and roughly chopped garlic. | 4 cloves. |
8. | chopped fresh herbs such as basil, thyme, parsley, dill, or green onion | As per desire. |
DIRECTIONS
Step 1.
Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and let it stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2.
Line a large baking dish with aluminium foil. Lightly coat the foil with baking spray and arrange 2 sprigs of the rosemary down the middle. Slice one of the lemons and arrange the half slices down the middle with the rosemary. Now, place the salmon on top.
Step 3.
Drizzle the salmon with some olive oil and sprinkle with the salt and pepper as per taste. Rub the seasoning over the salmon and scatter garlic cloves over the top. Lay the rest of the rosemary slices and lemon slices on top of the salmon. Juice one lemon and pour it on the salmon.
Step 4.
Fold the sides of the aluminium foil up and wrap it over the top of the salmon until it is completely enclosed. Make sure to leave a little room inside the foil for air to circulate. Bake the salmon until it is almost completely cooked through for about 15-20 minutes
Step 5.
Now, remove the salmon from the oven and open the foil so that the top of the fish is completely uncovered. Be careful while doing so because of the hot steam. Now, change the oven setting to broil, then return the fish to the oven and broil for 3 minutes, until the top of the salmon and the garlic are slightly golden and the fish is cooked through. Watch the salmon closely as it broils to make sure it doesn’t overcook and the garlic does not burn. Remove the salmon from the oven.
Step 6.
To serve, cut the salmon into portions. You can sprinkle additional fresh herbs or top it with an extra squeeze of lemon as desired.
Your delicious baked salmon is ready to be savoured.
